Even more attacks on health care. We must respond.

They're at it again.

A judge in Texas declared the Affordable Care Act unconstitutional.

Surprise, surprise: Republicans are still adamant about throwing our sick and most vulnerable off their insurance plans.

But we are not having it. Democratic Attorneys General have appealed this ruling and we will keep up the fight to protect American families from these attacks. Because we have the facts:

  • The ACA has helped many people, including thousands of Oregonians.
  • Our state's uninsured rate has dropped by nearly 10% since the ACA became law.
  • Undoing the law would put many people in danger of not having access to health care at all.

Nationally, it's a similar story: Since the ACA passed nearly ten years ago, millions of previously uninsured families have been able to access quality, affordable health care.

And yet, here we are: Republican Attorneys General continue to lead the attack against the ACA at every opportunity.

That's why, as always, Oregon and other states with Democratic AGs are leading the fight to defend people's coverage.

It is up to us to protect the sick and vulnerable. I have taken a legal stand and will dig in, fighting the Trump Administration and protecting the right to affordable health care every step of the way.

We won't succeed without your grassroots support. Chip in $3 to our campaign today and let's protect health care coverage for Oregonians and everyone across America.
